A slightly distressed vanilla glaze and furniture details, such as turned legs, bun feet, and glass-and-wire-mesh panels, give the kitchen cabinets the look of centuries-old furnishings salvaged from a European farmhouse.

A second sink, located to the right of the cooktop, lets two people work harmoniously in the cooking area. French doors in the adjacent breakfast area flood the area with sunlight.
